Wow it's been a while!

Lots has happened...I think since I posted here. I haven't even checked this in ages...and well...my picture needs changing too seeing as Kevin and I split about 4 months ago.

I've been living in France for 5 months working for Disneyland Resort Paris. I'm having an absolute ball! The first four months I was just doing character work but since then I was given another contract and this time it was Character and Parade...which means a dance contract! I've been cast in the show Mickey's Winter Wonderland which is an iceskating show. I had 5 weeks iceskating training and the show opened last weekend! I'll be posting pictures and if I can figure out how, a video of the show on my Facebook sometime soon. It's going really well and I'm really excited to be doing a show again!

I've been performing in the parades as well and if I can improve my juggling just a little bit more I will hopefully get to juggle in the parades also. My ultimate is to get trained to do bungie and there's a possibility of that soon I think! All very new and exciting on my part.

I'm hoping to visit London sometime soon but something always seems to get in my way. Hopefully soon though.

I think I'll be moving back there after my adventures in Disney BUT I might just stay on here a while longer after January if things work out. After that it's hopefully stunt school and who knows after that... the story of my life...I never know what I'm going to do next! I like having the independance to do that!

Oh, and for the first time in a couple of years I am now completely debt free!!! I finished paying everything off on Monday this week and I've even started to go and treat myself now and again which I have never actually done ..ever!!!! I like this change in me too.

Well, you can probably tell that loads has changed in the past few months and it's been an interesting time. I've had my ups and downs but things are good and I'm enjoying what life is throwing at me.

Hope everyone is well...drop me a line sometime ok? Canada and my life there feels like miles away. Don't know if I'll get back there for a long long time. Sad, isn't it?

Crazy times folks. I'm out.

Once upon a time...

Well, I've been working for Disney for just over a week now (that's without counting our training week). It's all pretty surreal but I'm having a blast all the same.

I've been doing many different characters, pretty much a different one everyday, which keeps life interesting and some days get broken up with two parade shifts, which is pretty sweet as well! The weather hasn't been too hot which means we're not drenched with sweat after two minutes of being in them, which is nice. At least after every set, (a set being going out into the park and having pictures taken, signing autographs and when we're not being swamped, playing with the kids) which lasts half an hour, we have a half hour break where we can change our tshirts if we want to and drink loads of water. The most number of sets each day is 6 which is pretty good actually.

It is frustrating not being able to speak fluent French though. I know a little bit to get me by but it's certainly not enough and there have been many times when I've been working with an all French team and it can be very tiring trying to understand them and it can get boring as well.

My roommates are fabulous and we're all getting along really well. Very exciting seeing as 5 girls under one roof is always a risk :P

There is a mandatory warm-up every day and I'm taking advantage of all of the free dance classes every week. So that's all pretty sweet too!!

Speaking of which, I have to get going because I have one tonight and even though it's my day off, I'd like to go in for it.

It's going to be difficult to get any pictures up online because it's at an internet cafe in the reception and well...their facilities are not really that helpful when it comes to uploading pictures etc. I had my first picture taken, that I've seen anyway as it was for someone else in the cast, and it was exciting to see me as Scrooge (although I'll be very glad if I never have to be him again)!!

Must definitely go...if anybody else is interested in auditioning I think there's one in London in the next month. Check out www.thestage.com as that's where I found out about mine!!

Cheers! I'm out.
xx

Disneyland it is!

So I get a call from Disneyland Paris last week offering me a job with them that starts on the 11th June! Crazy thing is, it's perfect timing as Kevin will be going back to Newfoundland for Rising Tide Theatre in Trinity a day after I head off to Paris on the 8th!

It's been pretty nuts with having to give up our flat and change our address for everything and find a place to store a few things, not to mention having to quit a job...the second one I've quit in two months!

Still, things are good. Kevin and I are both exhausted with working so much and then having to do all this other stuff on top of that and we haven't really been seeing each other as he works during the day and I usually work during the night. Crappy deal. I finish at the pub on Monday so we'll have a few days just the two of us. Looking forward to it really.

Anyway, I should get to bed, another busy day tomorrow but I thought I'd update you lot in LJ land!

Nighty night :)

First update in AGES!

Well, it's been ages since I updated anywhere. I have seemingly abandoned my lj for a while now but I do come on now and again to read others' posts.

Here goes:

I've switched jobs and had the craziest busy time of my life. I was working a full time job (40+ hours a week) and then my part time job in the office (22.5 hours a week) and I was doing this for a month. My office job has now finished (finally!!) and I'm now just working in a busy pub in Covent Garden. Good times, enjoying the work and it's great to have a few days free while working nights.

I just got news yesterday that I'll be staying in London for the summer. I thought as much. Gutted but it's all that I can do. Kevin will be in Newfoundland for the summer so I need to see about getting a flatmate for three months...if you know anybody let me know!

I'm going to do a bit of phoning around today about starting that fencing course and possibly see about a touring job over here. I'm going to start applying for auditions again and if I can get my showreel done before Kevin leaves, it means I can start sending that out to casting directors and agents. Must get back to what I'm here to do.

I had a great time with my high school friend Henna last night. We had a drink and a bite to eat and a bit of a catch up.

Anyway that's about it really. I need to start my day!

Cheers :)

Hello!

Just thought I'd post the link to the music video I was in.
Mini update!

Hello!

Just thought I'd do a mini update since it's been ages!! Had an exciting weekend. Was in a music video on Saturday that will be aired on BBC1 Northern Ireland and it will be up on the BBC website. Very cool. Was good fun to do.

This month is all about holiday! This Thursday Kevin and I are off to visit my sister in Geneva for 5 days. Neither of us have been there, although I've been to Switzerland before, so it will be exciting. We are celebrating our birthdays as hers is this week and mine was last week. Then I will be back in London for three days (two of which I have to go to work) and then I'm off to Vienna for 5 days to visit my parents as I haven't been there since September. Really looking forward to getting back. Need to decide whether I'm taking some things back with me or not.

There's the possibility that I'll be heading to Sydney, Australia in Jan 2008 for a couple of months to go to Oncamera Studios TV & Film school. It's not yet guaranteed but it's in the works. Kevin has to go back to Canada in November as his two year Visa will have run out (if you can believe it will have been two years since he moved here!). Then the plan is for both of us to meet back over here for a while longer. As I said, nothings guaranteed so we'll just see what happens.

Anyway, I must get to work. Will be an interesting week as we're actually moving offices. Kevin's department and the rest of the company have all moved already down to Piccadilly. (If any of you remember Piccadilly Circus, Kevin is working above Virgin Music Store). My department, however, is moving downstairs in the same building that we are in at the moment. Don't ask me why, it's a long story but we're staying put. Bleh. It's me an two other women in one little office all day with nobody else to go and talk to. I work over by the Tower of London. So yes, we're moving and that means not much work will be done aside from packing up boxes.

Have a good day!!!

PS...it's not much of a mini update is it...it's too long for a mini update :P

Disneyland!!

It has been ages since I've updated my LJ so I thought it would be a good idea to do it!

Christmas and New Year's in Newfoundland was AMAZING!! I had such a good time with Kevin's family and it was great to see my girls again. I really wasn't ready to come back but I've gotten used to things here again.

I went for an open audition today for...get this (although the subject might have given it away a little)... Disneyland Paris!! There were over 250 people at the audition. First we had to do a series of Disney characters one after the other to music. First it was being a cowboy, then pirate, one of the seven dwarves, two different Disney villians, a Disney princess and finally run off as though waving goodbye at an audience. Then a whole bunch of people were cut from that. I figured I'd get through that bit, and I did. The next bit was the dance routine. We were shown the choreography bit by bit (but with 180ish people in the room it was sometimes hard to see). I figured I wouldn't get through it because frankly, I was rubbish this time! However, I got through the second part of the audition. Finally, I was asked to an interview at the Radisson hotel later on in the day. We are given a group interview and then we are told all about what we are to expect. They had given us a presentation in the morning so we all knew sort of what we would expect but they went into more detail in the interview, which was nice. Long and short of it is they liked me but at the moment cannot offer me a contract. However, they are going to look for a contract that is suitable for them (ie look at height etc..) and then if they find something, they will contact me and I could be on my way to Disneyland Paris! Haha, hilarious.

What's great is that I went in there just wanting to have some fun and get back into auditions and I made it through!! Very exciting.

As for other news, my work contract with Aquascutum is now permanent. Instead of three month contracts for me to leave, I have to quit.

I've been looking into doing the personal training course and I still need to figure things out but i might end up doing it. It all depends on whether or not I get offered a place at Disneyland etc.. or if I get other acting work. I can do courses on the weekends but the overall time it will take me to get the qualifications will be longer than if I were to take the intensive course and get it over with in 4 months.

Kevin and I are going to visit my sister in Geneva in March to celebrate my sister and my birthdays! Very exciting. Kevin hasn't been to Switzerland and I haven't been to Geneva so I think we're both looking forward to it.

I finally emailed Arif and Todd the other day seeing as I hadn't been in touch since I left Grenfell and I got an email back from both of them on the same day. Really lovely to hear from them and to be in touch after all this time.

Well, I think I'm going to sit back and enjoy a cup of tea. It's been a long day and I'm glad to be home. Kevin gets back from work in about an hour and a half so I need to think of what to make.

Now I'm rambling!

I'm out!

I am totally knackered and therefore will only write a little bit and not much about the tour at all...

I'm more worried about my flight to Canada! The fog here is nuts. I've never seen anything like it and it's lasted the last two and a half days. When does fog EVER last that long? I had better be able to get to Canada on Saturday!!!

Tour went really well. 36 shows in 14 days. Pretty nuts but it was a great experience!

My computer is about to die on me so I've gotta get going...and I need some serious sleep as well.

Those of you in St. Johns...see you in a few days!!!
Dead to the world for the next two weeks!

Well, to those who aren't watching me be really silly doing panto a few times a day!!! That's right, the time has finally come and I am on my way tomorrow for the next couple of weeks. I haven't really be on here much lately but now I won't be on here at all...

Just thought I'd keep you guys posted on that. Here's the good news: I got my Equity Card in the post today!!! Perfect timing. I now have my membership number and it is grand!!!

Here's the even better news: 19 days until I'm in the air on my way to Newfoundland!!! VERY excited to be coming back over to see everyone and catch up. I can't believe it's been a year and a half. Time flies!

Must get to bed. Still lots of packing/organizing to do before I leave tomorrow. Hopefully Kevin will come out to visit this weekend as he's heading to Newfoundland a week Thursday so it would be nice to see him before then.

That's it folks! See you later :)

Rehearsals, rehearsals

Er, only two rehearsals actually. The last two days I've spent doing silly, cheesy dances, smiling far too much and doing silly accents and singing silly songs! Ah yes, preparations for the panto are going well. I have two more days next week plus a dress rehearsal the day before we go on tour and then I'm off! It's very exciting and it feels so good to be up and doing things! I'm not quite asking 'what is my objective' because really, my only objective is to be as silly as possible! Lots of fun but it's hard work! We've been joking that there will be nothing left of me after the tour because it'll take lots of energy and the only time we have off is when we're driving to our next show, so eating will be difficult! Ah, the life.

Yep, it feels weird going from one extreme to the other. I was dancing and singing yesterday and today I'm sitting in an office typing letters and filing. The weird thing is that even though I was tired yesterday, I would have had the energy to keep singing and dancing whereas today I could barely get myself out of bed and I was late for work because I was so tired. I guess that shows what motivation and a positive attitude can do.

I'm rambling.

Girls!!! We need to figure out when we can see each other while I'm over there because after the family do's with Kevin, plus Christmas and New Years, it doesn't leave us with much time! I've told Kevin that I might very well be out overnight one of the nights...If we can do the 'burning ceremony' at some point, that would be great... I just want to see you guys and catch up and help complete 'the bitch house' once again!

Amanda, is Mike around at all? I haven't had my hair cut in donkey's years and it needs a serious cut!!!

I'm getting so excited. This time next month Kevin will already be over there and in 5 weeks time I will join him.

Oh, did I mention that I kept my office job? Yep, my tour was shortened on me and the girl I was training up was rubbish so we decided that I would just take two weeks leave for the tour. Great how things are working out.

I am now officially Catherine Lewis and nobody else in the UK can have that name!! I should receive my Equity card in three weeks time. The goal has been met: Equity member by Christmas! Now on to getting an agent and making it onto the IMDB.

I'm out!

Hello everyone!

Well, a lot has happened. Let’s see if we can make bullet points of the important stuff.

-	Kevin’s show went well despite his worrying that it would not come together. I wish I could have seen one of the nights where it was more rehearsed…I went to see the first night. Not only being the doting girlfriend that I am but Kevin has by far a better voice than most of the people on the stage and you end up wanting to watch him more than other people. When Kevin first sang the girls sitting in front of me said ‘Oooo who is that guy?’ and proceeded to look through their program for him. Hehehe I can’t say that I wasn’t beaming with pride!!

-	I am still touring with Partytime, however they have nicely screwed around with my contract and I therefore am quite furious. I will work for them this time (as I get my Equity card and touring experience on my CV) but I will not work for them again. I know that legally I am in the right but hey, they know that if I were to do anything I would have a stamp on my forehead saying ‘don’t employ her, she’s difficult’ which is the last thing I want after doing my first paid gig. Bleh..

-	I finish at Aqua this Friday and I’m looking forward to a little break. The girl replacing me will be alright but man is she ever slow…and I’m not sure about what her work ethic is like. From what I can see, as soon as Ellen and Michelle leave for the day she checks her email and takes out her phone. Not that I don’t do that sometimes but I can afford do because I get ALL of my work done and rarely had any work left over to do the following day. Looking forward to Friday as we’re going out and having a big girlie night with dancing etc. Very excited about that.

-	Can’t wait for Christmas. I think there may be a problem with my ticket so I’m going to check that out over the next few days. I might even see if I can extend my trip a few days seeing as it looks like I won’t be touring in January. Again I say Idiots but at least I’ll get to see all of my Newfie friends!! (I say Newfie in a loving way so please don’t be offended by my using that term).

-	Went on a really fun and relaxing weekend with my sister. I flew to Nice and then we made our way to Cannes where we spent the Saturday shopping (far too much money was spent but I feel so much better now that I have three pairs of shoes that actually look good….I know I know 3…as if I needed any more shoes but all of mine are a good 3-5 years old!) Had an amazing meal on Saturday night and then spent the day on the beach on Sunday in the blazing heat of the sun. We could have gone swimming in the sea had we been smart and brought towels. We stayed in a hotel but had to check out and therefore didn’t have towels to use. We had another amazing meal on the seaside for lunch and then got ourselves to the airport. I feel so much more relaxed, confident and happy and I’m not as worried about stuff as I was before. Crazy how two days away can do that to you!! My sister said she wanted to spoil me this weekend and let’s just say that she went above and beyond spoiling me!!! Oh and did I mention that we’re hoping to make a sister weekend trip to Cannes an annual event!!!!

That’s about it really….oh and HAPPY HALLOWE’EN!!!! Kevin and I are going to carve our pumpkin tonight (we were going to do it last night but we then fell asleep)! I hope that we’ll celebrate it in our own way seeing as we’re not going to any parties or anything. I wish I could go trick or treating :P…Next time I’m in Canada for Hallowe’en I will be going trick or treating…….

Oh...I realised that the bullet points are not actually short...oops

Help needed!!

Ok, so I have a casting for a pilot for a sitcom for the bbc next Friday. Super exciting seeing as I have met and got along well with the producer during one of my classes at the Actors Centre. I know that there is a lot of competition, however, I REALLY want to land a role in this, even if it's tiny!!

Here's the thing. I need a comic monologue about 1 minute in length that is suitable for a sitcom-ey type thing and preferably for screen rather than stage. I have thought of one although I'm not sure how I will get the script.

If you have any thoughts re: the monologue and want to help me...please comment and tell me what you think!!!

Thanks guys!!!

2 years!!

Yup, today is Kevin and my 2nd anniversary. Very exciting!! It's nice that we're together for it because we weren't together for our 1 year.. so YEY!

Oh, and happy thanksgiving!! I know it's a bit late. Kevin and I both had to work yesterday so we had a 'thanksgiving dinner' on Sunday evening. I was going to attempt a traditional dinner (just with chicken and not turkey) but Kevin decided that he wanted Schnitzel instead. I guess I must attempt a turkey dinner later on sometime. Still, it was very yummy and a very nice evening!!!

It's a very rainy day today and I still don't own an umbrella. No, wait...I DO own an umbrella but I left it at Carly's place a long while back and keep forgetting to pick it up again when we're there visiting. *Makes mental note*

Meeting my friend Daniel today who I haven't seen in months and months. Will be nice to catch up over a quick sandwich. I have my voice class before that which is exciting.

The afternoon will be preparing for tonight! YEY!

I'm out.

Tickets booked!

It's been a busy time...or rather, busy day seeing as I got most of the things I needed to get done, done today.

This is what I got done:

- Kevin's ticket booked: Arriving 14th Dec, Leaving 8th Jan
- My ticket booked: Arrving 24th Dec (00:55am..I know I know it sucks), Leaving 4th Jan to Halifax and leaving Halifax on 5th Jan.
- Driving class booked for next Friday...so that I can drive on the wrong side of the road and not kill anyone while I'm driving people around on tour.
- Doctor's appointment..all is well but I'll be severely drugged up over the next little while...and I've been put on ANOTHER pill...ugh
- Made dates to meet friends before I leave for two months.

Still must do:

- Type up notice of termination for work which I am to hand in tomorrow.. (WHEEEEE!!)
- Call tax office to sort out my situation as I will be self employed as of November.

It's a busy time but super exciting and I'm so so excited about getting back to Newfoundland. I am now poor but hey, it's totally worth it!!

Must go make dinner...I'm out!

Exciting News

It has finally happened! I get to achieve what I planned by the time that I said I wanted to get it AND I still get to go on holiday!!!

I had an audition yesterday. It's for a touring company and I auditioned for them earlier this year but they couldn't use me because I'm only 22 and I had to be 23 to drive one of their cars. However, I went to audition again for the Christmas tour and they told me straight up after I did my song and monologue that they could definitely use me at Christmas!! Know what this means? I get my Equity card (Union), my first paid job, touring experience (which is great on the CV) and they went on to tell me that it would start in November and go until 21st December. Then I'd get two weeks off and come back to complete the tour in January. Know what this means folks??!! I still get to come to Newfoundland for Christmas with Kevin and visit his family and my girls!!!!!!

I'm so excited. See, I gave myself this goal: to have my Equity card by Christmas this year. It's just a stepping stone to getting more acting jobs and once you've had one you're more likely to get another.

They went on to tell me that they might need me for the tour starting at the end of next week for the whole of the month of October and the first week of November. It's an if and I hope I don't have to. It's just too soon. I'm not ready to pack up and go away for a month next week. I'm ready for November but there are so many things I need to do before going on tour. October is also a month filled with plans. Kevin and my second year anniversary (we weren't together for our one year) so I really want to be able to celebrate this year, Kevin's show (which I don't want to miss) and a trip to France to spend a weekend with my sister (ticket's already booked and I don't want to miss that either). All in all, a bad month to go away.

I'm in a bit of a predicament with work but they understand and knew that it was going to happen sooner or later and it's just a matter of figuring out how we are going to do this...my contract runs out next week and if I don't get the tour I'll probably be signing the three month contract, only to hand in my notice a week later so that I can work my months notice now. Ugh...

Very confusing. Oh, and I have to declare myself self employed to the tax office (I can claim tax on going to movies, having haircuts and buying clothes etc...very awesome!)..

Oh, the show we're doing is a panto and it's Jack and the Beanstalk. The schedule is 3-4 shows a day, 6 days a week!!

In other news, Kevin's computer isn't working at the moment and it's very distressing. We are hoping that it'll be up and running soon but we're running out of ideas..meh

Must get to work!

Feel good

My boss Michelle and my colleague Ellen just left after a very good evening! I cooked a yummy meal of schnitzel, potatoes with parsley and a salad consisiting of romaine lettuce, chopped walnuts and manderine slices, which went down really well and an apple crumble for dessert! I am very happy with the outcome!!!

Also, they watched my film. Everyone has been saying the same thing. The film needs to be longer. The feedback is great in that quote "it could be on a BBC1 drama series" which is great, but it just needs more filling out. I agree. But anyway, they said that it was really good and they thought I sounded like I was from London!! HAHA Great how I can do an accent now that is successful for people FROM that place!

Yes, really good evening and I have a lot to look forward to over the next few days.

I'm doing a dance workshop this weekend. It's four hours of dance on Saturday and four hours on Sunday. It'll be tough and a test of what I can still do as it is an advanced hip hop course (and I haven't danced in about 8 months, at least!!) so I'm pretty excited!...and nervous...but excited! My dance teacher in Vienna is doing the same course with me so it'll be nice to have someone in there who I know well.

Other than that, I'll get to go to the festival at the town hall in Vienna where each night for about two and a half months during the summer they set up a massive screen and show operas and ballets and concerts, one every night. There are also lots of different food stalls from all over the world, which is the BEST part about it! haha, I've had the most amazing food there...and amazing and huge cocktails!!

There's a lot of 'official' stuff I have to do as well. IE: go to medical for changing driving licence, change licence, have my passport updated to one of those new high tech ones where they hold info about you in a little chip (rather frightening if you ask me). I have anothe doctors appointment for my headaches which always leaves me very weird for a couple of days.

Then of course, I have to find time (not that I don't want to but it's more of a case of do I have the energy) of seeing all of my school friends who are in town. I think I might choose one night and request that everyone meet me at this one place so that I can catch up with all of them at one go. I'm missing a couple of my girlfriends by a couple of days and one by a couple of hours. Very annoying!

Still, my mom wants to take me shopping and cook me yummy food and hang out and I'm excited about that!

I get back to London on Wednesday night and I work Thursday morning next week. It'll be a long and whirlwind trip but I'm definitely looking forward to it!!!

I still need to pack. At least the flat is clean and tidy and it'll be nice to come back to a place that doesn't look like a hurricane hit!

Missing Kevin very much but managing to find enough stuff to do so that I'm not lonely all of the time. I've been going to the gym a huge amount (three times this week...and then I was supposed to go today to meet with a personal trainer (for free!!) but he couldn't do it... It's just great because I finally feel like I have lots of energy. James and Carly commented that I look really healthy, which is a boost to the self esteem and I generally feel so much better these days! I'm so glad I joined a gym. It's probably the best thing I could have done.

Anyway, I suppose I should go and do the dishes from dinner and pack for tomorrow and get to bed (as I have to be at work for 8am sharp!)..!!!

Nighty night folks!

So...what is there to report? I caught up with four friends this weekend, seeing Jeannette on Friday, Saturday afternoon I met with Kat and in the evening Crystal and I had a girlie night. Very very fun! Sunday I met with James Clarke and we hung out and had a really good catch up.

That is what this weekend was all about and I feel like I've had a really good chat with each person and that makes me happy.

I'm exhausted otherwise. I just can't seem to get the sleep that leaves you rested and ready for the day. Each day I feel more and more exhausted. I hope that I will still be standing when Kevin gets home!...I'm REALLY looking forward to having him back!!

My trip to Vienna this coming weekend is going to be CRAZY and I'll want to catch up with my friends who are there for the summer holidays but I literally have 'maybe' one evening where that will be possible.

Going to the gym again today. Really enjoying it and I'm looking forward to getting my fitness level back up to where it should be. Hopefully I will be able to make it through the 8 hours of dance this weekend!

Must get back...

Ciao :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY!!!! Sounds like you had a really cool birthday with Ollie! Thinking of you today!! We must chat about when we'll next get to visit...

Amanda, so sorry to hear that you got in an accident but I'm glad that you're doing better. Very scary.

I have been doing lots of thinking recently and as I told April when she called me (at 2am!! you're nuts darlin'!!! sorry if I was grumpy) I'm looking into doing a Personal Training course so that I can work at a gym freelance charging £40/hour, choose my hours and act the rest of the time!!! I think it's far better than working in the pensions department like I am now. Don't get me wrong, I've learned a lot and have enjoyed it but I would enjoy the above so much more.

In other news, Kevin leaves to Newfoundland this Wednesday and I'll be heading to Vienna for a few days in August to get my driving license sorted out AND go to a intensive dance course on the weekend that I'm home (8 hours of dance in two days...crazy) with this guy Germaine Browne who has done choreographies for Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera among others. It will be wicked!!

Been going to lots of auditions and concentrating on getting a showreel put together. Hopefully by the end of August it will all be filmed and ready for the editing board. We have some pretty cool scenes picked out and a good group of actors. Can't wait until I send it out to casting directors and agents!!!

It has been hot and stifling here in London the last little while. The humidity has been a killer so I welcome the air con everytime I go to work or the gym. I do love the heat but I don't like the humidity. It's been hotter here than Spain or Greece if you can believe it. It's weird and lasting for ages.

I'm starved so I'm going to run and get some breaky before starting the day!!!

Ciao folks :)

Sad news

I was told yesterday that Dr. David Freeman has passed away. Although I knew he was old, he was somehow ageless in that I didn't ever think that he would leave. I am really saddened by his passing and wish I had been able to speak with him again. He was such an interesting person with so much knowledge that you could spend hours in his office chatting. I am sure many students and professors of SWGC and Oxford along with everyone who knew him will miss his presence greatly.

YEY!! A good day! The audition went well and I am pleased. I met a lovely actress (who was up for the same role as I was) and we hit it off and are going to keep in touch. Coolness! On the train back there were some business men who decided to take the three seats at the table with me and we ended up chatting all the way back to London and they bought me beer. That was grand. Had a lovely evening with the Kevin who got work today (YEY). Things are looking up! AND...I spoke to Amanda for ages tonight. It could of lasted a hell of a lot longer but I knew I only had 3 quid left on my calling card. YEYNESS!!!!

Must go to sleep as it's 1:30 and we both need to work and we're both tired.
